Creator Program Agreement

Last updated: July 23, 2026

When you apply to the Creator Program, your acceptance of this agreement is recorded with the exact version and a timestamp. You agree to the version in effect at the time you apply.

1. Eligibility

The Creator Program is open to individuals and entities who apply and are approved by Pin & Paper. Approval is at our sole discretion.

  • You must have a valid Pin & Paper account in good standing.
  • You must be of legal age to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
  • You must provide accurate identity and tax information as required before payouts.
  • We may decline or revoke eligibility for any reason permitted by law.

2. Creator Responsibilities

  • Promote Pin & Paper honestly and accurately, and only using approved links and assets.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, advertising regulations, and the policies of any platform you post on.
  • Follow the FTC disclosure requirements in Section 6 every time you share your link.
  • Follow the Creator Code of Conduct and Brand & Asset Guidelines.
  • Not make guarantees about earnings, results, or features on Pin & Paper's behalf.

See the Creator Code of Conduct and Brand & Asset Guidelines.

3. Commission Structure

Approved creators earn a 20% recurring commission on every successful Premium Player Pass payment ($4.99/mo) made by a player they referred, for as long as that subscriber remains active.

  • Commission accrues each time a referred subscriber's payment successfully clears.
  • Commissions are never generated on failed, refunded, or charged-back payments.
  • If a payment is later refunded or charged back, the associated commission is reversed.
  • Commission rates and terms may change on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice.

4. Payout Schedule

  • Payouts are issued monthly.
  • A $25 minimum balance is required before a payout is issued; balances below the minimum roll forward.
  • Earnings are subject to a 30-day clearance period before becoming payable, to account for refunds and chargebacks.
  • Valid tax information must be on file before any payout is released.

Full details are in the Payout Policy.

5. Referral Ownership & Attribution

Referrals are attributed on a last-click basis using a 30-day cookie. Ownership of a referred account is frozen at the moment that account is created and does not change afterward.

  • Only brand-new accounts can be referred; existing accounts and self-referrals are not eligible.
  • Once a referral is attributed to you, it remains yours for the life of that subscriber's Premium subscription.
  • Pin & Paper's attribution records are the authoritative record of referral ownership.

6. FTC Disclosure Requirements

As a paid creator, you must clearly and conspicuously disclose your financial relationship with Pin & Paper whenever you promote the platform, in accordance with U.S. FTC guidelines and any applicable local rules.

  • Include a plain-language disclosure such as "I earn a commission if you sign up using my link."
  • Use clear tags such as #ad or #affiliate where the platform expects them.
  • Make the disclosure prominent — visible before or alongside the link, not hidden or buried.
  • Disclosure obligations apply across all channels: video, social posts, streams, email, and websites.

7. Fraud & Abuse

Any attempt to generate artificial referrals, commissions, or subscriptions is prohibited and will result in forfeiture of earnings and removal from the program. See the Fraud & Abuse Policy for prohibited behavior and enforcement.

8. Termination

Either party may end this agreement at any time. Pin & Paper may suspend or terminate your participation — with or without notice — for violations of this agreement, the Code of Conduct, the Fraud & Abuse Policy, or applicable law.

On termination, unpaid commissions that were validly earned and have cleared may be paid out subject to the minimum payout threshold; commissions tied to fraud or abuse are forfeited. Recurring commissions stop accruing once participation ends.

9. Earnings Disclaimer

Participation in the Creator Program does not guarantee any level of income. Earnings depend on factors outside our control, including your audience and subscriber retention. See the Earnings Disclaimer.

10. Right to Modify the Program

Pin & Paper may modify, pause, or discontinue the Creator Program, its commission rates, or its terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Changes apply on a going-forward basis and do not retroactively remove commissions that have already validly cleared.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pin & Paper's liability under this agreement is limited to the amount of commissions validly payable to you at the time a claim arises. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost earnings or lost audience.
