Billing begins only when you activate your league and open player registration. You can create your account, build your league, configure settings, and set up your season completely free. You never pay until you're ready to launch.
How does pricing work?
A commissioner pays $99.99 to activate a league for the season, at any roster size, charged when you launch the season — it is not a subscription and never renews on its own. Each player then either subscribes to the Player Pass at $4.99/month, which covers every league they enter, or buys a $99.99 League Pass covering that one league for that one season. Golf clubs and businesses buy a Club Licence instead — $999.99 a year plus a one-time $299.99 setup, with unlimited leagues and unlimited members.
How long is a season?
You set your own season length — a few months or a full year, whatever your league runs. Activation covers the season you are running however long it lasts, so a longer season never costs more.
Can I add players mid-season?
Yes, at any point in the season. A new player either enters on their Player Pass or buys a League Pass when they join — there's no proration and no change to your activation fee. There is no cap on roster size, so your league can grow as large as you need.
What happens at the end of the season?
Your season wraps with a final standings page and a championship moment, and your league history is preserved permanently — every player can look back at past seasons at any time. Renewing for the next season takes one click. Activation and League Passes apply to the new season, and anyone on a Player Pass carries straight over.
How does payment collection work?
Pin & Paper doesn't process or track league dues or event entry fees. Players pay you directly via Venmo, Zelle, cash, or any method you choose, and that settlement stays between you and your players. What Pin & Paper charges is separate: the commissioner's activation and each player's own pass.
Is there a contract or commitment?
No contracts. Activation and League Passes are per season — you pay when you launch a season and nothing in between. A Player Pass is billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime. A Club Licence renews annually.
Who is the Club Licence for?
Golf clubs, courses and businesses running leagues for their own members. It covers unlimited leagues and unlimited members, and members play at no cost to them. It is sold to organisations only — individual commissioners and players use the Standard League above.
